All that I am, I share with you
Marriage
The Church of England marriage service explains why Christian marriage is precious and important.
- It unites and man and a woman ‘in heart, body and mind’
- Its ‘joyful commitment’ is the safest place for sexual union
- It is ‘the foundation of family life’
- It points to God’s good plan to unite heaven and earth through Jesus
Legally, you can marry anywhere with a licence. But if you want to explore the unique character of Christian marriage, we would love to talk to you. Contact Harriet on enchristchurchhwb@gmail.com, or come and join us one Sunday and meet Jim the vicar.
You’ll find lots more helpful information at the Church of England’s Your Church Wedding website.
Renewal of Vows
It may be that you got married in a civil ceremony, but now things have changed and would like to commit to Christian marriage. Perhaps you’re about to reach significant anniversary and you’d like to mark that occasion by renewing your marriage vows.
Please feel free to contact us and we can talk about the options available.
